When children are growing, there is nothing more important for them than to know who they are, who they want to be, where they came from and where they want to go.

Since we believe that family is a very important element in kids’ growth process, we proposed them to explore this subject, always with a lot of fun mixed. In this activity, we asked kids to draw their ‘genealogical trees’ (семейно дърво in Bulgarian), with the purpose of knowing their families, how they drew it and the feelings expressed during this task.

It was interesting to see how some children loved this activity and strove to make an excellent job, whereas others turned up seriously bored (or, at least, that’s what their attitude showed) and finished their drawings 5 minutes after we told them to start!

The most important aspect of this activity, regardless its acceptance among the kids, were the fun moments we shared with them, as well as the smiles we put on their faces after the work was done!
